I had the privilege of conceptualizing and designing a festive greeting card for the students of Michigan Hillel for the joyous occasion of Chanukah, the revered "Festival of Lights." These cards were thoughtfully distributed to over 50 students, fostering a sense of community and celebration during the holiday season.

My design approach for this project was to encapsulate the rich tapestry of Chanukah's symbolism and the diverse ways the holiday is cherished. While adhering to the iconic Maize and Blue color scheme synonymous with Michigan Hillel, the greeting card carries the spirit of the institution with a balance of warmth and reverence, mirroring the celebratory ambiance of the holiday.

 

The result was a c aesthetically captivating and emotionally engaging greeting card that was well-received by the students. The designs succeeded in fostering a sense of belonging and joy, highlighting the organization's commitment to supporting and celebrating its diverse student community during a cherished time of tradition. The cards stood as a testament to the profound ability of thoughtful graphic design to imbue holiday greetings with a greater sense of meaning and connection.
